The Design Inquiry of Learning framework is similar to other frameworks used by other disciplines for design and development, such as architectural design, IT software development and game design. It provides a cooperative, iterative, and continuous model.
Prototyping is a preferred method over text based writing or reporting. It allows for testing and evaluating, including external review, rather than just reflection.
Working alone is no longer an option. Teams can generate quicker solutions and be more creative problem solvers than lone agents. But like all frameworks that involve collaboration, social groups will always have friction and conflicts especially at pinch points.
